Football: Week 6 Wausau Area Sports "Honor Roll"

The 2026 High School football regular season is now 2/3rds complete after the completion of the week 6 games. Here is the latest list of "Honor Roll" recipients for the greater Wausau area for this past Friday's action:
Eli Feit (Newman Catholic): The sophomore running back had a massive night in the Cardinals' 47-38 win at Cornell. Feit carried the ball 22 times for 243 yards and 3 touchdowns and added a 55 yard touchdown reception as Newman won their first game of the season.
Aiden Kilde (Wausau East): Known primarily for his defensive prowess as linebacker, Kilde was an offensive spark for East in their 19-0 win at Mosinee. East was playing without top receiver Henry Maahs and Kilde stepped up with 4 catches for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kilde also had 5 tackles and 1 TFL on defense.
Kamryn Blasky (Wausau West): The Warriors' junior had 7 tackles in the 26-21 loss to Marshfield on Friday. 5 of those tackles were solo stops and kept Marshfield from long gains. Blasky also forced a Marshfield fumble in the 4th quarter that was recovered by the Warriors' John McCorison and allowed West a chance to pull out the win.
Michael Fox (Newman Catholic): The senior quarterback helped the Cardinals to the win at Cornell with both his arm and legs. Fox hit on 6 of 10 passes for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns and also added 78 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
Vander Truax (D.C. Everest): The Evergreens had a rough night in a non-conference loss at Hudson but Truax put up good numbers on both sides of the ball. The senior caught 7 passes for 77 yards on offense and also added 8 tackles, including 1 for a loss, on defense. Truax also averaged more than 26 yards on 3 kickoff returns.
Angelo Nieves (Wausau West): The West senior gave the Warriors some much-needed momentum when he returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown late in the 2nd quarter that put West on the board and cut the Marshfield lead to 14-7. Dangerous on kickoff returns all season long, Nieves nearly broke another later in the game.
Wausau East defense: Lumberjacks recorded their 2nd shutout of the season and improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the Great Northern Conference in the 19-0 win over Mosinee. In addition to Aiden Kilde's 5 tackles, Xander Klein had 5 tackles (4 solo and 2 for losses), and junior DE Malcom McEachin had three tackles and a sack for East.
