Everest starters had at least one hit including two hits each from Ryan Schulz and Cade Felch. Mosinee: Baseball falls in tight one at Pines while Paetyn Jirschele reaches 100 career hits in softball win at Lakeland.
Despite two hits each from Tyler Baars and Aiden Laurila, the Mosinee baseball team falls 2-1 at Northland Pines in Great Northern Conference play on Tuesday. It was the 2nd straight one run loss in the past two days for Mosinee after a 10 game winning streak. Softball: D.C. Everest uses 10 run 3rd inning to top Wausau East
The D.C. Everest softball team scored 10 times in the 3rd inning and went on to beat Wausau East 13-3 in 5 innings in Wisconsin Valley Conference action on Tuesday night. Maddie Hoppe extended her school single-season home run mark with her 14th of the season as part of the big inning. Taylor Dykstra got East on the board with a 2 run double in the top of the 1st inning to give the Lumberjacks a 2-0 lead. Everest came right back in the bottom of the inning to take the lead.

Softball: Marshfield outlasts Wausau West in 9 innings despite complete game effort of Butler
Despite pitcher Kaitlyn Butler allowing no earned runs in 9 innings, the Wausau West softball team couldn't overcome five errors in a 5-3 extra inning loss to Marshfield on the Warriors' Senior Day on Tuesday. The Tigers never trailed in the game and scored twice in the top of the 9th inning to win it. After Marshfield scored twice in the top of the first inning, West got one back in the bottom half of the inning on a two-out RBI single by Jaidyn Calmes to score Breanne Bush
