Football: Week 3 Wausau area Honor Roll.

With the end of week 3 of the High School football season in the books, the 2026 regular season is now a third of the way done. There were again a number of outstanding performances for the Wausau area players that have earned spots on this week's Wasuau Area Sports Honor Roll:

Garrett Bracewell (Marathon): Bracewell continued his red-hot start to the season in the Red Raiders' 19-0 victory at Crandon on Thursday. Bracewell caught 8 passes for 166 yards and 2 TD's in the game and ranks 2nd in the state with 29 pass receptions and tied for 2nd in the state with 445 receiving yards through three weeks. Bracewell also added two interceptions on defense in the win at Crandon.

Miles Waldvogel (Wausau West): Waldvogel's 49 yard touchdown run early in the 4th quarter gave the Warriors the lead for good in a 24-13 win at D.C. Everest that kept the Warriors undefeated. Waldvogel finished the game with 129 yards on 21 carries and all three Wausau West touchdowns.

Rudy Harris (Mosinee): The senior running back helped Mosinee to their first win of the season, 33-14 at Antigo. Harris rushed for 129 yards on 25 carries with 2 touchdowns.

Aiden Kilde (Wausau East): The Lumberjacks defense held Tomahawk to 14 yards passing and 197 yards of total offense in a 23-14 victory with Kilde again leading the way with 13 tackles, including 8 solo stops.

Will Hopper (D.C. Everest): Hopper caught a 31 yard touchdown pass to put the Evergreens on the board in their game against Wausau West plus led the team with 8 tackles on defense, including two for losses.

Koltyn Stevens (Marathon): The sophomore linebacker sparked the Red Raiders' defensive shutout at Crandon with 16 tackles in the game. 6 tackles were losses and Stevens also added a quarterback sack in the game.

Aiden Thao (Wausau West): The West defensive back had two interceptions in the Warriors' win at D.C. Everest. Thao also had five tackles in the game.

Xander Klein (Wausau East): Klein also recorded double digit tackles in the East win at Tomahawk with 11 stops including 8 solo tackles. Klein also caught a touchdown pass on offense in the GNC opening win for the Lumberjacks.
