Baseball: Wausau West's Graveen and D.C. Everest's Schulz among 1st Team selections on all-WVC team.

The Wisconsin Valley Conference announced their all-conference team on Tuesday with league champion Stevens Point leading the way with 4 1st Team selections with Wisconsin Rapids with 3 players represented. 2nd place D.C. Everest had one pick on the 1st Team as did Wausau West.

For the Warriors, senior Joe Graveen was named 1st Team for the 2nd straight season. Graveen, who played the majority of the season at shortstop along with some pitching, led Wausau West with a .347 batting average in all games with a home run and 18 RBI. D.C. Everest was represented on the 1st Team by junior infielder Ryan Schulz. Schulz ranked 5th in the WVC in batting average at .429 in league games with a homer and 10 RBI.

Other 1st Team all-WVC were SPASH's Calvin Roth (also WVC Player of the Year), Jonathan Trelka, Braeden Jankowski, and Gavin Thiel. Wisconsin Rapids was represented by Brett Olds, Jarrett Szelagowski, and Gage Honeyager. Marshfield's Mason Anderson and Jakob Sadowska rounded out the 1st Team.

D.C. Everest dominated the 2nd Team with five selections among four players. Ty Rohde, Cole Van Slyke, Aiden Haupt and Cade Felch (both as an infielder and pitcher) all received 2nd Team honors. Felch was 3rd in the conference with a .444 batting average and 3-1 on the mound in league play with a 1.04 ERA that led the league. Rohde hit .378 and Haupt .362. to place both in the top 15 in league batting while Van Slyke anchored the Evergreens behind the plate.

Among the Honorable Mention selections were Ty Teske of Wausau West both as an infielder and pitcher plus Warriors' teammate Will Stengl at 2nd Base. Wausau East's Connor Lemirand was Honorable Mention as well along with D.C. Everest's Cooper Richie, Hayden Grezenski and Carter Miller.
