Baseball: Mosinee's Baars, Andersen among 1st Team all-Great Northern Conference.

Mosinee's Tyler Baars and Sebastian Andersen among the all-Great Northern Conference 1st Team baseball squad. Baars, a senior, led the conference in batting with a .500 average, hits with 27, runs scored with 19 and RBI with 20. Baars was also second in the conference in stolen bases with 10, just one back of the league leader. Andersen, also a senior, was third in the league with a .438 batting average, 2nd in hits with 21, 2nd in home runs with 2, and 2nd in RBI with 17.
Among the 2nd Team selections were Mosinee seniors Kaden Kolodziej and Treve Stoffel plus sophomore Aiden Laurila. Kolodziej was named 2nd Team as a pitcher and also earned honorable mention as an infielder. Kolodziej tied for the league lead in pitching wins with 4, was 4th in ERA at 1.54 and 5th in strikeouts with 40. Stoffel was very consistent in both league and non-league games as he had a .304 batting average both in the GNC and overall. Laurila had a fine .390 batting average in conference this season.
Along with Kolodziej as an infielder, also receiving Honorable Mention from Mosinee was junior catcher Noah Zebro. Zebro had a .306 batting average to go along with his work behind the plate this season.
