Baseball: Marathon's Thurs, Kunkel and Woelfel among 1st Team on Marawood-South all-conference squad

The Marawood Conference has announced their all-conference baseball team with three Marathon Red Raiders earning 1st Team honors for the South Division. Marathon seniors Drew Woelfel and True Thurs plus junior Quillan Kunkel all were selected to the 1st Team. The Red Raiders also had 4 players named to the 2nd Team: seniors Blake Underwood and Evan DeBroux plus juniors Ean Shuda and Owen Chrouser. Marathon senior Grant Salber and sophomore Blake McCain were Honorable Mention.

Thurs has a .308 batting average with 9 RBI so far this season. Woelfel is hitting .300 with 2 homer and 14 RBI while Kunkel leads the team with a .455 batting average, 1 home run and 13 RBI.
