Football: 2026 Mosinee preview

Mosinee football: 9-3 overall in 2025, 6-1 (T-1) in Great Northern Conference. Lost 38-19 at Columbus in D-4 Level 3 playoff.

All-GNC players that have graduated: 1st Team QB & DB Treve Stoffel (141/211, 1969 yards, 23 TD/3 INT; 150 carries for 1008 yards, 17 TD; 111 tackles, 5 INT), 1st Team WR and Punter & 2nd Team DE/OLB Mitchell Michlig (33 receptions, 702 yards, 12 TD; 33.9 yards per punt; 39 tackles, 5 TFL), 2nd Team Kicker Gus Miller, 2nd LB & HM RB Carter Fandrey (71 tackles, 5 TFL, 2 INT; 73 rushes for 435 yards, 6 TD; 19 catches for 234 yards, 1 TD), 2nd Team DB & HM WR Jerrick Seeger (39 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 INT; 22 receptions, 172 yards, 2 TD), HM LB Zander Deininger (68 tackles, 7 TFL).

All-GNC returners: 1st Team OL Sr. Gavin Cliver, 1st Team DL Sr. Kaeden Ludwig (36 tackles, 5 TFL, 2.5 sacks), HM DE/OLB Jr. Braeden Mocadlo (59 tackles, 12 TFL, 6.5 sacks) HM DB Sr. Brayden Reinke (40 tackles, 2 INT, 2 fumble recoveries).

Other notes on Mosinee: New head coach as Kevin Sanchez-Stevenoski replaces Kyle Stoffel. Sanchez-Stevenoski had been an assistant on the Mosinee staff but has head coaching experience leading the Mosinee boys' Track and Field program. Of bigger concern will be replacing the offensive and defensive production of the graduated Treve Stoffel, who was the GNC Offensive Player of the Year after producing nearly 3000 yards of total offense with 40 touchdowns. However, Mosinee has a long winning tradition that a new set of leaders will look to continue. In addition to being a returning HM all-GNC performer on defense, Brayden Reinke also had 18 catches for 278 yards and 4 TD as a receiver. Braeden Mocadlo had an outstanding sophomore campaign and should be among the top returners on defense in the conference. 1st Team all-GNC Kaeden Ludwing also should anchor the Mosinee defensive front. Mosinee should be tested before starting conference play in week 3 with a season opening trip to Stratford on Friday before hosting Menasha in week 2.
